Noctis kept his hands on the steering wheel and tapped his fingers a little nervously wondering if it was a truly good idea to leave you there all frozen up and crying, but…
Noctis kept his questions inside him, he couldn’t get anything out of you from the state you’re in. So there’s only one thing left for him to do….
“You’re staying here for the night,” he said making the decision
“Huh? But I can’t! He’ll just get angry again! Plus…”
Noctis sighed, he knew what you were talking about “You’re worried about the dog right?” he sighed “Fine… At least Shot would have somebody else to bother with.” He picked up his keys and headed out. “You just stay here an don’t worry alright?”
He did promise to get Koromaru for you, to be honest, even he wasn’t fond of dogs. But he had to admit it was cute and obedient. His pressed the door bell waiting for someone to answer the door. He heard some rapid barking then a sudden whine.
Poor guy…
“What is it?!” the man barked the stench of alcohol clear in his breath,
“I’m here to get _______’s things, and… the dog,” he said hesitantly to the man as he saw Koromaru wagging his tail excitedly. The dog walked up the stairs with Noctis following.
“Hey! Hold it you Punk!” He yelled grabbing Noctis by the shirt and slammed him on the nearest wall. But he looked completely emotionless and unfazed. He yanked his hands off his suit. “Where’s the bitch?!”
“I really don’t appreciate you using that word on your own daughter, sir.” Noctis started. “As a member of staff I must ensure her safety even if it means taking her from you.”
“Ruff!” Koromaru barked to remind him.
“I’m coming alright…!” he complained as he walked following the dog to supposedly to your room.
“Hey! I ain’t done talking to you yet!”
Noctis directed his eyes to the corner and picked up a nearby table knife and threw it over his shoulder, flying past the man and pinned him on the shoulder by his shirt.
“You just stay there and cool down for moment, I have some business to take care of.” he said coolly walking upstairs following the dog.

He looked around the plain white room, for so much, it was clean unlike the rest of the house. Everything was all in place, books were neatly stacked on the shelves and the bed was neatly made. The dog started to drag out a luggage bag with his mouth containing all your things already packed.
So she did consider running away then… he thought as he zipped up the case and stood it up. Koromaru barked as he proceeded to drag your school bag out of under the desk,
Noctis sweat-dropped This dog knows more than I do…
“This should be enough,” he said to himself as he cleared most of your things and stuffed neatly packed them in as many bags as he could find. Another bark from the dog, he looked down to him to see him putting a music box on the ground and used his snout to push it towards the older male. “I guess this is important too then,” Knowing it was a valued item he put it along side your school bag.
He was shocked to find your father already freed himself and was back on the couch drinking and watching the T.V. He sighed and looked at the white Shikiko Dog who only whined and stare back at him.

He finally got back and found you still on the couch but in his place was Shot talking non-stop as you on the other side listened instead. His eyes perked up once he saw his friend by the door, “Yo! How’s it goin’ Noct?” he grinned then caught sight of the luggage he carried. “Wow, going on vacation already? Never knew you would be a slacker,” he laughed
Noctis closed his eyes and sighed “Shut up,” he snapped monotonously, he pulled the case behind him as Koromaru bounced in front of him only to be petted on the head by you. “Here,” he said putting the bags on the floor, “I’ll show you to your room after dinner,”
“O-oh, okay…” you stuttered, Noctis turned to go “Sensei?” he stopped “Thank you,”
Without another word he walked back to his room, “Noctis?” Shot asked from his place from the couch.
“Goodnight,”
He goes to bed his early in the evening?! He hasn’t even eaten dinner!
“Heh, don’t mind him, he’s always like this.” Shot waved his hand around as if not to mind Nocits’ behaviour. “Right time for dinner!” he cheered reaching for the phone.
You blinked as he dialled quickly, you got up with Koromaru following you. “HWAH!” You yelped as you saw the state of the kitchen.
The kitchen was the absolute mess, fast food and take away containers everywhere and the dishes looked like they haven’t been cleaned for quite a while.
“Hey! What’s the matter?” Shot came running in, “Ah, thought that would be your reaction, after all you girls are normally clean and tidy…”
“Surely you and Sensei can afford a maid or a cleaner!” you said with amazement, Shot scratched the back of his head.
“Eh… We don’t really bother, with that woman around who knows, we might be endanger their lives.” he murmured the last sentence
“Did you say something Shot-san?” you asked, he was taken back and then shook his hands frantically. “N-nothing! Now don’t worry ‘bout that we hardly even use that blasted room, come on, dinner time,”
After some Chinese take away meal, Shot soon fell asleep on the couch snoring up a storm, and Noctis didn’t even come out since he locked himself in his room. Koromaru was sleeping soundly on the carpet.

“Done finally,” you smiled in success wiping the sweat off your forehead, looking proud of your work. You looked at Shot and Koromaru who were still sleeping in the living room with Shot snoring up a storm.
(Try and ignore Fang, this is Noctis living room , well it’s actually Hope’s but it’s close)
You opened your purse to find some decent amount of money in there, It should be enough, I have to pull my weight around here at least. Sensei’s kind enough for letting me stay in his house…
Shot woke to the sound of dishes, he turned to look at a wall clock to see it was early in the morning ‘6:00am’. A soft bark made him look towards Koromaru, he patted his head,
“Good morning boy, how are you?” he asked as he petted him, another bark was his answer and then trotted back to his breakfast of kibbles.
“Morning Shot-san,” you greeted coming into the room with a bowl of miso soup and another of steamed rice. “I made breakfast,”
“Ah, food thank god,” he said flinging the duvets off his body but then he froze, “Wait… when did we get supplies for food?…” he asked pointing at you.
“Oh, I err…. used my only stock of allowance,” you smiled sheepishly as you held up your upside down purse to indicate you spent it all. “The food is going to get cold Shot-san,” you said.
You smiled as you saw him scoffed down the food, “So good….” he said with a full mouth then taking a sip of the soup and then taking another bite of the grilled fish. Never seen someone with an appetite this big. A small whine made you look towards the white dog to see him holding his leash in his mouth.
“Shot-san, I’m going to walk Koromaru, Noctis Sensei’s breakfast is in the kitchen,”
But Shot was only half listening, it was after you shut the door that he recommended in what you had said.
Noctis sensei’s breakfast is in the kitchen… KITCHEN?! He dropped his chopsticks, but still held onto his bowl of rice and raced to the designated room which was shockingly crystal clean.

“Noct-chan!” a soft voice called “Noct-chan, just how long are you going to sleep for?”
“Mother?”
“Oi! Noct! Hurry, the princess made killer food!” Shot exclaimed as he barged into the Prince’s room and frantically shook him awake. “Hurry! It’s gonna get cold!” Making the Prince suddenly shooting up from his sleeping position almost like a robot.
“This had better be good,” Noctis murmured rubbing his eyes wearing his slippers and still dressed in his black silk pyjamas, sitting up in his bed, Shot soon came back with the breakfast you made and a lap table placing it in front of him.
He was surprised at the choice of food, he picked up his chopsticks (even he was surprised that he remembered how to use them after so much using forks and knives) He nicked a piece of the grilled fish off and put it in his mouth
He was shocked at the amount of flavour that was packed in that single fillet, He put down his chopsticks as Shot looked at him as he did so. The Prince took a delicate sip from the soup bowl.
“Where is she now?” he asked,
“Ah, she was walking her dog, and to probably buy more groceries,” Shot smiled “Oh yeah… and hear this! She even cleaned the kitchen up,”
“You don’t say….” he said not surprised at all.

“Koro-chan!” you called “It’s time to go back, sensei’s going to be mad, if we don’t!”
The dog barked and walked towards you, suddenly blocked by a adult Boxer looking smug. Koromaru tried to walk the other way but again it blocked his way, starting to get impatient Koromaru growled at him.
“Koro-chan!” you called once again. The white dog hopped over him and ran towards you. “What were you doing?” You asked him with a raised eyebrow, Koromaru just growled. Sensing that the dog wasn’t in the best of moods you left him alone.
Just as you were about to step into the road to cross, a white limousine zoomed past barely missing you. You breathed out in relief that God had decided to spare you from death yet, and sighed as you looked down where the car had gone.
I guess not every rich person could be as kind and polite as Noctis Sensei…
